Henry Ford once said that a business should always try to give the customer more for their money, not less. And this seems to be the general theme of Japanese hospitality. But this hotel seems to take the opposite approach. The room was literally as small as it could possibly be and still contain a bed. I have enough experience with Japanese hotels to expect tight quarters relative to Texas, but this was really one step above a capsule hotel. They are aware of it too, because they make a point of explaining that their small rooms are for the Earth. Maybe. But the pitiful breakfast wasn't for the Earth. The whole thing was cut-rate, but to give a concrete example: the ONLY fruit on offer was canned fruit cocktail. About the only thing worth applause at this hotel is the almost immediate proximity to the station. I love Japan and almost never find anything to complain about, but this is pretty bad. I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Takamatsu. The onsen facilities are excellent and I thoroughly enjoy them, especially the outdoor onsen. The breakfast spread is good and nice. I also want to thank Mr Akira Miura who found my son’s debit card and took effort to return it back to us. Thank you very much and hope to go back again.

It’s a good place and in a very convenient location

It’s very clean and very convenient to get around and spacious too
