"Friendly staff at breakfast. The hotel rooms are ok, the bathrooms are nice and updated, but the floors in the rooms need to mopped properly as they feel quite sticky and dirty. Good that it has a gym, but there’s a mismatch of single weights of varying size. The use of plastic wrapped plastic cutlery at breakfast is not great, would be great if that was changed into something more environmentally friendly."

"The room was clean but I still was able to spot some spots on the walls and furniture where stuff had maybe splashed from previous guests. Besides that it was well clean and perfect! Idk if it’s pet friendly or not. Didn’t go to the bar. And the staff was phenomenal!! 10/10"

"It took us about 20 minutes to get in because we were given the wrong access code to get into the unit. The code was correct according to our host, but their cleaning crew did not set the code correctly after cleaning up the previous stay. I had to call Vrbo support in order to get in contact with the host, as their number was not provided, and they did not respond promptly in the Vrbo messaging system.The place looked like the pictures, but it was a lot older of a building than it seems, and there were many issues exemplifying that. The bathtub wall panel was pulling from the wall, the floors are extremely uneven and creaky, and the stairs leading to the apartment were a little rough. It was generally clean, but little spaces like behind curtains were extremely dusty and filled with cobwebs and lots of ladybugs. The floors were not cleaned well, as my socks were extremely dirty on the bottom just from walking around Host also asked us to sweep with a broom that was not there?The kitchen window was open when we arrived, but would not lock when we tried to close it, which was worrisome. Lastly, the oven door completely broke while we tried to make pizza. We opened the door, and one of the hinges that is supposed to bend when opening/closing would not bend into place and completely detached from the oven. The host responded quickly and apologized for the incident, but it really did feel like a cherry on top. Overall, it was a place to stay, but just not up to our standards."

"I have stayed at the Moonrise several times, but this visit was not good. The bar and restaurant were not open, the rooftop bar was also closed and there was an odor and unkempt appearance to the entire motel. The beds were comfortable as always, but it was not the best visit."

"We had 5 people in our group with 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch, as I pulled out the couch the mattress was thin and had very dark stains on it,the ceiling fan was so dusty the the dust was hanging over the blades overall the place was just filthy., would not recommend "

"Staff was wonderful, and the hotel in general was great. However, I was surprised to find no parking spots open on the premises after I had paid for parking. I was told I would receive a refund and I’m sure I will. As for the room, it was very tidy, clean, and well organized. Upon waking up on the day of checkout, I found that the comforter which was in between the sheets and the throw blanket were heavily stained with what appeared to be urine. I was told I’d receive 5,000 Hampton points for this which is nice but I don’t feel that is enough. Paying $200+ for a room for one night, I wasn’t expecting urine stained sheets. "
