「Great host and place, a little out of the way 」

「The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the first night, we didn’t have a hot shower, which was a bit disappointing, but the water was lukewarm the next day. The area gets quite noisy on Saturday nights, sometimes until late at night. It might not be ideal for a long stay, but it’s a great place for a short stay. 」

「great services like I got during my stay. The check in was while sitting in a living room, they explain me all of the option for a day tour, the took care of my laundry after treking the Kilimanjaro. The lodge looks is wonderful, all is green beautifully plants, the room is wide, clean cacfully and really nice, the food is diverse and delicious. 「Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic. 「Nice property, friendly helpful staff」

「I stayed here one night after landing in stone town. Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for. Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi just dropped me off on the main road because cars can’t access the small streets. Once you know where it is, it’s super simple to return to」

「I had hoped to walk from airport but glad I got a taxi as the walk would have been muddy and past several very sketchy characters. I had to pay cash because they had no record of my payment. $16 is what it’s worth. Friendly and comfortable with a nice shower once I was there. Recommend ed only for the adventurous. 」

「The property is very quiet and located right on the beach. Beautiful views and friendly and accomodating staff. The breakfast is wonderful and delicious. Only downside to this property is that there is not 24/7 staff at the front desk and obtaining extra bottled drinking water from the hotel is not easy. Overall would highly recommend. 」

「Charmante maison du début 1900.mobilier art déco et ou l art primitif africain s y mélange .pas loin du centre ville et face a un beau parc donc a l écart du bruit du centre ville a proximité. Petit déjeuner délicieux donc un rapport qualité prix dans cette ville touristique et assez chère.」

"This is my second stay at this hotel (the first stay was in 2020). They prepared the annex which is a bit far from main building. It is just 2-3minutes, but the restaurant and bar is at the main. (I don't know how is in the main building, but) the room of annex have no mosquito net even in Zanzibar (they said it is OK to other customers... really?). So, I needed to turn on air conditioner all time, and it made me shivering all night (air conditioner worked good enough). I wonder you can spend comfortably in this situation. And more, stairs of the annex were not stable as in my country (Japan), so I always fell down. You can enter the main building free (without showing the key or something), and this means outsider can go inside easily. OK, this is in Zanzibar, Tanzania!!"

"Staffs were very friendly and we stayed very comfortably. Thank you very much. On the other hand, we had to reserve some restaurants for dinner and they were almost full every day. It was very difficult to reserve them. We hope to improve this situation."
