Likes: Quiet, clean, friendly staff, and just a few minutes walk from the beach. Dislikes: It's located next to a preschool, so six days out of the week, it is your alarm clock. If you are looking to be pampered, this place is not for you.

Excellent location with a close walk to the beach and restaurants etc. Room was clean and great value for money. Staff were helpful, brought us a hairdryer when we needed it and breakfast was plentiful! A great little place to stay.

I am happy that I stayed at Nungwi House. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I felt like friends. They helped me about anything. I would definitely recommend this place. It is very close to the beach and there are taxis right in front of the hotel.

You Get What You Pay For (don’t do it)

One of my worst hotel experiences. The air conditioning in the room did not work and there is no overnight staff to contact. It was 34 degrees. There is no bottled water in the rooms (you cannot drink the tap water). When an extra towel was requested (for the second person in the room - the room had 2 beds) the staff said none were available as they needed to do laundry. One was eventually provided and it was dirty. Stained with unidentified substance on certain parts. Staff at breakfast was friendly but there is no water available then either. They suggest you purchase at a local shop. The location is very (!) difficult to get to due to the lack of roads (there is a road but it is not paved and so full of crevasses it is very difficult for cars to access it. Would not recommend unless your only requirements for the evening are a flat surface to sleep on with walls around you.

Alles sehr einfach gehalten ohne großen Komfort, aber alles was man braucht. Klimaanlage, Ventilator, Generator bei Stromausfall, Wlan. Einzig ein Moskitonetz fehlt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht. Frühstück immer mit Eier und Obst, Süßaustrich, Kaffee oder Tee. Ich brauch morgens nicht mehr.

Localização, limpeza e custo benefício.

Quarto simples porém grande e muito limpo, localização e o ponto mais alto pois fica praticamente onde tem o centrinho com restaurantes e lojinhas, super seguro e muito próximo da praia. Só deixou a desejar um pouco no café da manhã que embora fosse bom todo dia era a mesma coisa, poderia ter alguma variação mas isso não nos impediria de retornar pois a localização e o custo benefício são perfeitos. Quem não está atrás de luxo e quer algo simples e bem localizado esse é o lugar.

Small and quaint

No air conditioning but you didn't need it. Small and quaint. Nice location and price. My only complaint is that I wish they started breakfast at 7am instead of 8am. They also could do a better job with their coffee too.
