"Great property with a relaxing pool area. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and my early check in was accommodated. Front desk staff was both professional and eager to offer assistance. Easy access to the walking and biking paths along the river. The hotel could benefit from a few more restaurants or shops within walking distance… Otherwise a very pleasant stay. "

The only unusual feature was the shower drain (I didn't expect it to be outside of the shower and actually IN the common area of the bathroom by the sink)."

"the room looked really neglected. the walls were scratched in the lounge. the dining room chairs were uncomfortable to sit on. the bathroom walls and back of the door was dirty and dusty. we had no toilet paper or milk or extra towels. No room service for the three days we were there. It did not feel deluxe at all. The front staff were great and supplied us with toilet paper and milk and apologised for not supplying us with those items. "

"⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Stay – The Sebel Brisbane Margate Beach We had a good stay at The Sebel Brisbane Margate Beach. The location is fantastic – right across from the water with beautiful ocean views and easy access to the beach and local cafes. It’s a lovely, relaxed area and perfect for a peaceful getaway. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was a nice bonus for enjoying the sea breeze. While overall the experience was positive, there were a few small areas that could be improved, but nothing that took away from our stay in a major way. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Overall, a solid and enjoyable place to stay, especially if you’re looking for beachfront views and a quieter coastal vibe. "
