It was very clean and well maintained. Staff was kind and friendly. There's lounge and kitchen so it's convenient, and shared shower and toilet were also clean. Location is really good too.

I stayed in a single room and appreciated the extra privacy, while still saving on cost compared to a regular hotel. The shared bathrooms are also cleaned regularly, which helped me to feel comfortable and at home.

The staff are really helpful and can communicate in english. I arrived around 4am and there is still someone who will assist you with the check in. The pod was spacious enough and you have a spacious storage that locks itself when the keycard is not inserted. And most importantly, Japanese bidet. Will definitely stay here again! XIE XIE

I was in Taipei for a very short layover and wanted a place that was cheap, conveniently located, near transit, allowed for late check-ins (my flight landed after 10pm), and that would hold my luggage for a few hours while I ran around trying to take in a few sites. The Taiwan Youth Hostel & Capsule hotel exceeded my expectations!!! It did all that - it’s literally within a couple of blocks of one of the exits for the Main Station - but was quiet too! I actually managed to get some decent sleep for the 5 hours that I was there!

This hostel is very conveniently located near Taipei Main station. You can go any points of interest in Taipei from here, easily. The staff are friendly and considerately. We saw a receptionist named Albert every day during our stay. He has been taking great care of the facility and fulfill our requests nicely. I have a special thank for him. The only bad part of this hostel is that the room is really small. However, considering, the price we paid and the location, it is hard to complain about that.

The hostel is located 5min walking distance from Taiwan central station, which is the hub for high speed train, local train and subway. We arrived closed to mid night, the streets were quiet with only few places still open for food. We walked around and felt safe. The staff in the hostel is on duty 24h and all the facilities worked well. We had a room for 3 of us, it has a bunk king bed, the standing area was very small, but the beds were big and comfy. The showers, washrooms and kitchen are clean seems all the time. They also have designed area only for women. The free coffee is delicious. They provide toast, jams as simple breakfast. There are so many street food around the hostel for breakfast choices. Overall, we are happy with this place and would like to recommend it to people travel on budget.

Great common areas. There is free toast in the morning and an instant coffee machine that can be used all day. Plenty of washrooms and showers. However the air conditioner was very loud in our room and the rooms are not available until 6pm.
