Shangri-La Far Eastern, Taipei
Beautiful large room. Excellent staff in the Horizon Lounge. Great service in Li Bai and the lobby lounge. The international buffet at the Cafe was a bit of a bun fight with the locals, although the food itself was good.

Eastin Taipei Hotel
Clean room, helpful staff, Bank of Taiwan was just around the corner, no trouble using the wifi on phone. There is an underground mall exit right in front of the hotel (Exit 11) that connects to the blue line MRT, but it doesn't have escalator/elevator. We used it to get around when it rained. Park Taipei Hotel
Room is clean and well renovated. Public transport are convenience where train station exit are just in front of the hotel entrance. Will stay again for next visit.

The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei
The rooms were not very clean - dirty carpets and the sheets felt itchy and grainy. The curtains were in bad condition so it would let light into the room every night which made it hard to sleep. Great breakfast buffet!

Shida
