"We've stayed at the Intercontinental here many times and it continues to make us smile. This time was wonderful - especially the quality of the buffet dinners. Always a welcoming place that is dependable to take care of you with always weird arrival and departure times."

"The hotel is in a good location to walk to the main promenade in Papeete, Although it’s not a pretty neighborhood. Quite a few shuttered businesses but felt completely safe to walk around day or night. The street noise is present if in one of the street facing rooms. It has a pool that is having a reno, but it’s nice and looks out towards the hillside. The workout room was sufficient and I appreciated it being included. We didn’t use the spa. The staff were efficient and helpful. They offer luggage storage which was great. Overall I would stay here again for a stopover. My biggest complaint is there is no outlet in the bathroom and no mirror in the bedroom where the outlets are. If you want to use any hair appliances, there is no way to see yourself. "
