The room was tidy, clean, and well presented on arrival, which we really appreciated. The temperature in the room was also very comfortable, creating a nice environment to relax in after a long day. However, we did expect the coffee mugs to be changed or refreshed during the stay, which didn’t happen. Also, the bedding was not ideal — only a duvet was provided, and during the night it became too warm, with no lighter blanket or sheet available as an alternative. On a very positive note, the reception staff were outstanding. They were always available, friendly, and genuinely willing to help, which made a big difference to our overall experience. Overall, a pleasant stay with great service at reception, but a few small improvements to room details and bedding would make it even better.

Things that were good: The interior looks nice; you have enough space; the shower was nice; you have a kitchen What not good: Firstly, there were hundreds of dead flies laying bellow the windows (maybe vacuum the room); there is no door or something equivalent to the bathroom with the shower, thus, it's not suited for people NOT traveling with their significant other but with other people; the cable for the hairdryer is so short that you have to sit on the floor to dry your hair; no toilet brush; when advertising to have a luggage storage, please tell people upfront that it's your office which is very far away from the property... Best case, it's an average experience, maybe even a bad one if you include the price (depends when you book and what you pay). And coming from someone who travels a lot, please make the experience convenient and get the basics right before putting so much effort into the interior design which does nothing for comfort...

Our stay at The Leo Grand in Vienna was excellent and very memorable. Check-in was friendly and efficient, and we were pleasantly accommodated earlier than the official check-in time. The room was spacious, elegant, and beautifully decorated. The handwritten welcome note, along with wine and cookies, felt genuinely warm and thoughtful. The complimentary minibar added extra comfort. We especially enjoyed the complimentary afternoon and late-evening service in the restaurant. Drinks, fruits, and desserts were elegantly arranged, creating a warm atmosphere with lovely Christmas vibes. Breakfast was superb. The menu offered a rich selection, the food was well prepared, and the service was fast and professional. One moment deserves special mention. We had an early flight and realized very late that we would miss breakfast. Mira honestly explained it was too late to request a breakfast box, which we fully understood. However, at around 5 a.m., after a quick check-out, she surprised us with a carefully prepared breakfast box including hot coffee, fruit, apples, and sandwiches. Her thoughtful gesture made a perfect ending to our stay. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, with many of Vienna’s highlights within walking distance. A few constructive suggestions. Assistance with luggage at check-in would be helpful, especially for guests with large suitcases. The bathroom and toilet are fully separated and not adjacent, which feels somewhat inconvenient.

The location is convenient and the hotel looks beautiful in the pictures. However, the room wasn’t cleaned to a sufficient level — I don’t think they ever did vacuum cleaning during the week we stayed there, which was obvious because the floor got quite dirty with fluff and dust. We could see mould in the bathroom, which is surprising considering that the hotel is quite new. Also, they have some issues with heating; therefore, it was cold in the room, which is critical in such cold weather as we had. We had to ask for additional blankets, and eventually they had to give us an additional heater. Lastly, we booked a Superior Double Room with a large bed, a sofa, and a table. There were pictures of this room that we saw and liked. When we arrived, they gave us a room that was missing half of this furniture and looked very different from the pictures. When I mentioned that the room didn’t look like the one we booked and didn’t have a table or a sofa, they immediately offered us the same room but with the missing furniture. Why they couldn’t do that straight away? Why did we have to have all those conversations? Because the room still didn’t look like the one that we booked, we were given a free upgrade to a Suite, which is nice. However, the first experience when we just arrived wasn’t too good, which is very disappointing, considering that you are tired from all the travelling. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful too.
