「We had a wonderful vacation at Newtown Retreat. The historic home is beautifully restored and very comfortable. It's a real bonus having king size beds for all guests.The location was excellent as we could walk to the downtown areas and numerous restaurants. We really enjoyed exploring Staunton and the beautiful nearby wineries.We highly recommend Newtown Retreat!」

「When I first arrived and saw the outside, I was second guessing myself because the front yard area is not well kept HOWEVER the inside of the house is fantastic! The rooms are spacious and felt like home! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and coffee making! We really loved the sunroom off the kitchen! When had questions, response time was always quick! 「The apartment should be listed as apartment and not entire house. The apartment was very clean and easy to access. There’s plenty of food and bars to go to in immediate area. The downside to this is if there are people occupying upstairs you WILL hear them and not by a little bit either. Also there is only ONE way in and ONE way out which is a safety hazard considering if something were to happen in the kitchen people would essentially be trapped. The parking pass was expired. 「Place was exactly as described. We were only passing through for one night but was exactly what we needed. Fenced in backyard for the dog with lots of space.」

「Home is very cute and as described. Lots of extras provided to make the stay very easy. Stormed so we didn’t get to use the fire pit but enjoyed our morning coffee in the cool air on the bench provided with beautiful views. Location is great for bridgewater college visits. Would stay again.」
