We asked for a couple of extra towels so we could help bathe my father, who is disabled, and the staff acted like it was a problem. They also refused to allow my car with handicap plates to park in the handicap parking. Later, they even called us in the middle of the night accusing us of parking there, even though we had parked in the basement. My father is in a wheelchair and cannot walk, which made the situation even more frustrating. When I asked a simple question about checking out early and whether there might be a refund, the staff member laughed at me and said, “What do you think this is?” Overall, the staff treated us like we were a burden rather than guests. It was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I would never recommend this place and would not stay here again. No one should be treated this way, especially when caring for a disabled family member."

"I’m not sure ir I stayed in room 2322 or 2320, but the room was very clean and neat at my arrival. As someone that worked in hospitality for many years I know exactly when I room is clean. Very friendly and helpful staff starting by my housekeeper who gave me some advice to navigate around the city since it was my first time visiting San Francisco, to the front desk staff that recommended me places to visit and eat, to the horsemen that helped me to find my car. I had a very pleasant experience during my two days stay. The only thing I had a little trouble with was getting from the parking lot to the elevators area. The stairs and the two very close and narrow doors. It is a whole project trying to hold the doors, while carrying your luggage and go downstairs. Overall I loved staying at the hotel and for sure I will stay there my next visit. "

"This is a great location for a decent price. Beds are comfortable and shower was clean. But the rooms do have a musty smell. You can open a window but there are no screens. No microwave or coffee in room. But overall a good motel for just a bed and shower. Will stay there again."

The description as an in law apartment is accurate: it is a lower, walkout level. However, some tips that may help, for first timers, like us: there is no hot tub, or stove or oven--it is more of a kitchenette, with hot plate and Keurig maker (two flavored cups were provided); you don't have control of the temperature, as it is in the owners' home upstairs. Also, parking can be limited on the street, and especially be aware of the restrictions of days and times. "
