「It was an excellent value for the price. It worked perfectly for our one‑night stay before heading up to Canada. The room was clean, the furniture felt new, and the free wifi and parking was a big plus. The location was ideal — just a short drive or can be a good walk to the waterfront and nearby restaurants. It’s a quaint, quiet town, and we really enjoyed our stay.」

「Unique hotel with some quirks. Great location, walkable to downtown and all the restaurants. Staff is friendly and responsive. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We stayed in a room that had a shared bathroom; and it seemed like quite a few of the rooms were sharing. One of the showers has not very much room and the curtain really hugs you.」

「The hotel is a very good value and the room was spacious. It wasn’t scrubbed spotlessly clean, but it was good enough. The staff was very helpful. The secure Wi-Fi didn’t really work in the room, but it did in the lobby. All in all, I’d stay at La Quinta again.」

「This was a beautiful property about a mile and a half outside of town, so it was very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and even had generous bathrobes too use. I would stay here again the next time I am on San Juan Island!」

「Mother’s Day Weekend 2026: The Maison is CLOSED. The advertising online Expedia may have you thinking that the Rosario Maison is open but No it is not. The room we stayed in is in adjacent building on Rosario property. You have access to private beach area and private garden. The room has Roku, microwave, coffee. There is no noise filtering. People came in the middle of the night and they were so loud. There is no staff onsite. Contactless entry code. The advertising on Expedia about where you...

「The lobby smelled when we first went it. The one guy practically accused me of stealing towels. We had 1 towel in our room and went to front desk and he basically accused me of stealing for I had not mentioned it sooner. The guy that checked us in was nice, but the guy in the morning was rude and disrespectful. The bed was ok and the area was quiet but the lobby smelled and the staff was not helpful or nice at all」

「Deer Harbor is Awesome! And the Deer Harbor Inn is a great place to stay! Once we had the key code for our room we found a cozy, inviting environment. We turned on the fireplace/heater and warmed it up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well lit. The parking was right behind the building and we could see our car from our room which was nice.」
