"Basic hotel convenient for an evening arrival on the ferry for those who don't want to drive far on the first night. Hotel overlooks open countryside to the town beyond. Rooms could do with better soundproofing, ours was just above open reception area and quite noisy and we could hear water pumping around all the time."

Dinner was from 8pm so we were hungry when the restaurant eventually opened at 8.30pm but it was well worth the wait. "We only stayed here for 1 night en-route to Santander from the Algarve, the room for 4 was OK for this but may be a little small for a much longer stay. Room was comfortable enough & well sound proofed considering hotel is on a main road. Buffet breakfast was standard eat all you want continental buffet and was quite good.
