"Beautiful hotel, beautiful people. Will come back"

"Hotel is a bit old, but it's clean and in a good location. Maintenance is a bit poor and a couple of things didn't work (eg the plug for my sink was too small, so it didn't work). Biggest complaint is that I cut myself and asked reception for a bandaid, but they didn't have any. For a hotel of this size to not have one functional First Aid kit is a concern. Would hesitate to stay on this basis, as it suggests safety is not a priority for the hotel."

"My experience at the Valia Hotel was fantastic! Their staff is super customer oriented: Yok and Abudy made me feel like a VIP. The gym and pool are both excellent, and the location not far from Sukumvit shopping, bars, etc. The shuttle will get you there in about 5 minutes. Would recommend, good value for sure! "

"Love love love this place! Room 751 with the jacuzzi in the living room was awesome and the staff accomodated every request possible. Jenny even assisted with securing our luggage so we could pick up somethings at MBK the next day. Nine also convinced us to look at another night for a great deal. This is our absolute favorite place to stay in BKK so far. Chris & Leah"

"This was a return visit to Oakwood Studios - it is a great option in a fab location. Staff are very helpful. The only downside, for me, is the lack of laundry facilities (& expensive in-hotel option) but there's a wonderful reliable, cheap and speedy option about 15 min walk away. "
