"The staff here are very polite and respectful. The room was cleaned everyday and amenities were excellent. The location was a bit further than expected for our attractions but it was due to heavy traffic. Shower a little unclean but acceptable "

"As a frequent traveler and member of many loyalty programs we sometimes enjoy perks like a free drink or a room upgrade. At Rembrandt hotel they managed to give us a downgrade. We booked a Premium King room with a kingsize bed, at check in they got us probably the worst room in the hotel with an uncomfortable queen size bed, TV in a very awkward position and BTS noises all day. Initially I thought it was my mistake booking the wrong room but the day after a louzy night sleep I checked and it was confirmed that I booked the Premium King room. I complained to the manager, she got us an other room but no apologies or explaination why we were not given the room we bookeda at check in This was a very unpleasant start from a three day stay. Maybe we should have been more alert but you may expect that you receive the room that you pay for and if an unfortunate mistake happens, management apologizes at the least. So beware at Rembrandt Bangkok: make sure that you get what you paid for! "

"A bit of an old hotel, which I don't mind. However the cleaning seem to be done with only one towel for everything. I'd advise to clean again on your own (I do it all the time on counter tops and handels etc). The desk had a glass on top of it, which started to glide when I was working with my laptop on it. Betweeen the glass and desk, there was a bunch of hair stuck. The room was dusty, the telephone was dusty. No slippers were offered, no amenities unless you call them. Safe deposit box is too small for laptops. The toilet flush was leaking. Ask for a room far away from elevators, cause you hear everything outside your door and your neighbours. Bring earplugs, because it is an old hotel. The bed was the most sturdiest bed I have ever slept in. I could sleep, but if you do not like firm beds. This is not for you. Also it leaned a bit. They really should upgrade these. The good things were it was a big window to watch out, there is a pool and gym. Workers there are friendly but lack of english when you call the reception, but mostly worked out fine. They don't offer shuttle service, but there is some bikers down there if you are alone and you can have em drive you to the station for a small fee. I like the cost performance ratio, but it needs to be deep cleaned. I don't mind if it's a bit old."
