「Lovely spot great views over Loch Tummel Friendly staff 」

「We chose to stay hear because it was our dream on this backpacking trip to stay in a castle. The castle is beautiful, warm, with the wood fireplace burning. I will say that for a very old property they keep it extremely unkept. It is of older charm, so keep that in mind (older carpets, less electrical plugs). The food , staff, and the stay was amazing, I only wish we weren’t backpacking so we could’ve stayed longer. One thing to note are that the parking situation threw us off alittle because...

The hotel was beautiful and clean, the staff were absolutely lovely, the meals were cooked to order and delicious, especially the breakfast. 「The room was very clean and warm. Toiletries, bath robes and slippers provided (although slippers a little on the large size for me, just being a size 2) !! Staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast very nice and served to order lovely and hot. Dinner was also delicious. Coffee/tea was served in lounge following dinner in front of a lovely roaring log fire. Overall highly recommend this excellent hotel and will definitely return in the future.」
