"Excellent location, the property was like a dream - beautifully designed and unique. Every corner was picture-worthy. The artisanal toast bar had some variety each day and the hot tub was excellent."

"The resort was very comfortable and close to places to eat. They had a continental breakfast. The fireplace in the lobby was usually burning to take the edge off the crisp mornings. Staff were friendly."

The Whip Bar and Grill on the premises is an excellent restaurant with good a good selection of entrees and drinks. I've seen some reviews where people were disappointed but if you tell the staff that the food did not meet expectations, I am sure that they would replace it with something to make it right. There are many people that don't communicate issues. A good estabishment like The Whip will take care of you if you let them."

"The room was spacious, clean, quiet and the refrigerator and microwave helpful. Beds were very comfortable and the staff very hospitable. Loved that the room had both outside and inside door. We were disappointed that the hot tubs were outside as it rained while we were there so we could really enjoy a soak. Breakfast was hot but somewhat disappointing especially as I could not find any decaf coffee and the water pitcher was empty and there was no one in the kitchen to refill it for me. Loved the outdoor grounds, access to the stream and access to bikes and the bike trail into town. porch was a nice touch too!"
