Smugglers' Notch Ski Resort is ~ 3 miles away with alpine and Nordic skiing. and loads of summer fun. Nearby, Stowe, offers a plethora of offerings (please note: Stowe is ~ 15 minutes away in the summer and is one hour away in winter months due to the closure of Rte 108). Jay Peak is 50 minutes away. This area is popular with painters, writers, photographers and to the art community at large. Equally a favorite for foodies and craft beer lovers.
