"The hotel was superb in its updating. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean...no carpeting aside from a large rug under the bed. It is a very noisy area because of the proximity to the highway but that's okay. The three seasons cafe (beside the hotel) had fabulous food and a wonderful staff. I would not hesitate to stay here again and I will tell friends."

"The room was so clean! There was a nighttime bonfire w/S’mores. There was morning coffee, fruit, and cereal bars. The owner was great about accommodating our dog. All the things worked. Plus it’s really close to beach access and walking trails. I highly recommend this place and will go back."

"This place has everything one needs for a get away in the north country. Well appointed living space, loads of entertainment and even a sweet neighbor's dog to keep you company on the deck. The sunsets from the dock are spectacular and it is a good central location for other day trips. Be aware.... the bathroom is on the wee side and needs negotiating for larger guests but it is manageable. We enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back."

"Lovely 2 bedroom cabin with everything you could possibly need for a day or weeks. And a lot of cool extras that people normally don’t think of. Games for a rainy day, a fire pit by the lake, and a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary dishes and appliances. Mark, the host is very informative about anything and everything. We wish we could have met him in person. Maybe on a future stay! Thank you very much!"

"This property is beautiful and very clean! Great remote location, wonderful sunrises, and the host was very responsive. The property is as pictured except for 2 things. The one bedroom is shown in the listing as having a twin bunkbed and a full size bed. Actually it is a twin upper and full size lower bunk bed. Also, the table on the deck is currently unusable and is not the glass one in the picture. If you want any games, you need to bring them as all they have are puzzles. If you want chairs and sand toys for the beach you will need to bring your own. You also need to be a bit nimble to get to the beach by climbing over the boulders. There is a rock path off to the side but it is very uneven and difficult to walk on. There is no air and though the recirculating air in the heating system works well to move air around, if it is warm, you may want to bring some fans as none were provided.Overall, it is a great place for a group of people to have a wonderful getaway off the beaten path but close to civilization! Our group included ages 8 to 68 and we very much enjoyed our time here!"
