「Excellent. Cordial & helpful staff. Hearty breakfast. A very enjoyable stay.」

「We have stated this property before and loved it. Five years later, it’s not the same. I think new ownership took over and they’ve scaled it down to nothing in terms of service, staff, amenities. Basically there is no one behind the reservation desk all day, instead they’re in the kitchen making snack food, which is all the “restaurant “offers. Time and time again we saw people very discouraged because they could find nobody to help them with things like getting ice or paying for food items....

「The room we had was spacious, and there are nice outdoor sitting areas. Breakfast is placed in your refrigerator and in a basket the day before. If you are hoping for a charming Berkshire bed and breakfast with a cooked breakfast and interaction with your host, you will be disappointed. If you are satisfied with an unusually nice motel, you will be very happy."」

「Convenient location, super clean and nicely decorated. We were in town to visit Tanglewood and didnt stay long enough to enjoy the area. Would definitely come back and find some time to enjoy the porch.」

「Pictures on the internet made it appear to be an Inn. It was actually a motel just above route 7. Tricky taking a left onto a 4 lane highway to get to Lenox but doable. Room was clean, air conditioned, comfortable and great staff. Few minor issues: 1. Bathroom fan didn't work and one of the charge ports on the shared bedside table was dead. I would recommend if all the cute Inns in Lenox are full.」

「Property is sprawling and unwieldy. Couldn't find the main office for 10 minutes (went to 2 other buildings). Check-in - 4 people at the desk, but only 1 actually checking people in. Lower floor of "villa" smelled funny. Mildewy smell in tub. "Market" is actually a tiny area with some cold drinks, candy and "breakfast" - which is microwaved eggs and pancakes served by unhappy people. Coffee was instant and priced at $3.25 a cup. Pool area was chaotic and unsupervised. Roving bands of teenagers....

「The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

「Every point of contact I had at 33 Main was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. It’s evident Donna and her team run the inn with love. It’s clean and gorgeously furnished on the inside. You’ll recognize it from the outside, because it’s the most charmingly decorated on the block. I stayed in the Cliffwood room, which was the perfect size for me as a solo traveler (in other words, although smaller than the other rooms, it did not feel too small).
