"Perfect room. Pleasant gentleman who checked us in. Short 5 min walk to great beach (early morning we were on the beach alone). Amenities include microwave, mini frig, toaster. Cute town. Hahei Explorer boat ride is informative and about an hour. Cathedral Cove walk is quite nice, but be prepared for some steepness (about 2 miles one way)."

"The location was incredible! We were just steps from the beach, and also a short walk to the little shopping area in Hahei. The house has every thing you need and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Our host was incredible helpful and quick to reply to any questions we had. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"This property has a beautiful bird eye view of Hahei and the ocean. It was the perfect size for the two of us, and we enjoyed being able to cook our meals and wash a few clothes. We also enjoyed our close proximity to the hiking tracks. There was a little bit of room for improvement on bed, comfort and cleanliness of kitchen."

"The house is in a lovely location however the water pressure in the shower is very bad. And although we didn't have our dog with us this time, the property is marketed as pet friendly but does not make it clear that the section is not fenced in at all, not even at the back. This is an important consideration for anyone looking to bring their dog with them."

"This is a very nice place. So close to the beach. Nice deck furniture. Great umbrella for shade. Walking distance to shops and a great pub. The steps are a challenge. The best thing you can do is be prepared. If you want to lug a 36 inch suitcase down and up the stairs you will say a few bad words. If you are on a longer road trip, bring a smaller bag where you can take what you need down to the apartment. I am 70 and managed okay but would organize the stuff I need a little bit different."
