"The room was hot- very hot when we got there. Took several hours to cool. The last night of our stay there was a car just outside the hotel with bass so loud that it was shaking the walls until 5am. I feel like the hotel should have stepped in way sooner and called the cops for a noise ordinance. Half the elevators in the hotel were down, took a very long time to travel around the hotel due to this. The ones that were running were getting stuck. I normally only stay in Hiltons- this was the least welcoming experience I’ve ever had. The hotel was hosting a wedding and felt like they were only catering to the guests that were part of the wedding, I had to call multiple times down to the front desk just to get them to answer the phone. "

"The hotel itself was great. However, we were unaware there would be thousands of people crowd the beach. We weren’t even able to see the sand with how many people there were. Then there were gunshots. I did not feel safe having my family in this kind of environment. Police finally cleared the area but this took hours. The staff at hotel stated they never seen anything like it before. I understand that the hotel wasn’t to fault this, however I feel like additional security would have made the guests feel safer "

"We stayed here 2 nights before our cruise and 3 nights after. The rooms were very clean, great breakfast served and walkable to several restaurants. The pool is nice but loud from interstate behind you. They do not have an airport shuttle from Sanford, which is our airport choice. we’ve stayed many times before and will be back! "
