Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room had a beautiful view.

The staff was amazing. We came from an Alaskan cruise and my fiancé was very sick. They got us into a room very quickly so she could get into bed. We needed to heat up some soup, and a microwave was delivered to our room. Unbelievable customer service. If there’s a return visit to Vancouver, the Paradox Hotel is the place we’ll be.

One of the more expensive hotels available. Then why did we have to coordinate our room’s temperature with the front desk? One of those call back every 15 minutes to see if they still needed to adjust our temp. They advertised heated floors in the WC. Heated floors were not available. The coffee machine was broken. We were supposed to be able to scan our issued room key so that we could use our phones for room entry…but that feature, also, unavailable. A lot of money spent for a room that didn’t function as advertised. I will say the interactions with the staff were pleasant…but we are not in the practice of troubleshooting our room’s features. We prefer to enjoy the fruits of the city.
