This is a great place to visit in the North of England.

It’s like stepping back in time to visit a town, farm, colliery village and old hall and getting to experience what it was like to live in those places from about 1910 onwards. There are staff who take on the roles of various locals that really bring this place to life.

This picture is from the town where you can explore a bank, shops, pub, dentists and lots of other things as well as ride in traditional vehicles of the time. Such a brilliant experience.

"Brilliant communication from the host. Immaculate house in a quiet residential street. Had a driveway which fit our two cars comfortably. The house itself was beautiful. Stunning decor and attention to detail. Modern appliances and everything you need. Beds were super comfy with soft linen. "Grey St Hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Newcastle. Right in the heart of the action, but still quiet in the room at night. We arrived by train and the station is only a short walk away. The reception staff were friendly and helpful at all times, as were the housekeeping staff. Our room was spotlessly clean, had lovely high ceilings and sleek decor. The hotel was also incredible value. I’d love to go back and try the spa facilities :-)"

"What stunning hotel, we had a junior suite, and it was such a great space. Plenty of room for starters. Tones of natural light, with a fantastic view of the Millennium and Tyne Bridge.
