"We did not spend anytime in the main building as we were visiting family. The room we had the courtyard was cosy and comfortable. The castle setting is amazing in its own grounds next to golfcourse and quiet. We will be booking again to spend time here and have a room in the castle its self"

The complimentary minibar is a nice touch and the river views are an absolute bonus. Service is spot on, friendly, efficient, no fuss. Food at Gino D’Acampo Newcastle is genuinely very good and rounded off my stay nicely. Simple: great hotel, no weak points, would 100% stay again."
