「Room was a mad bargain at under £70 including breakfast. The site is substantial and well maintained, in a charmingly rural quarter. Quick and friendly check-in. Chucked bags into room and immediately came down for dinner. Nice 2 course meal was filling, one noticed excellent fittings eg flooring etc in the 'Nookery' restaurant. 「Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are a good size; we had a view of the garden which was very pleasant. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. Both the garden bar and the terrace at the front of the hotel with beautiful views across the bay are both lovely places to enjoy a drink. The outdoor pool looked good though we didn't use it.
