"The room was spacious and clean with windows so it was airy when required to be. The staff would be very helpful with any queries. A reasonably priced hotel and in a nice location by the river in the town of Monmouth and close to some nice eating establishments. The bed was really comfortable. The fact that the main gate was possibly going to be locked at 8pm made me panic, but I was given an extra key for the main gate and was given a phone number to call if there were issues with getting in."

"Enjoyed our nights stay in this friendly B&B. The room was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly when we arrived and at breakfast. There was a good selection to choose from for breakfast and the food was good. The only thing that let this lovely B&B down was the shower. We would stay here again and definitly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay at Newton Court Farm. It was exactly the sort of break we wanted and the house was comfortable, fully equipped and very high quality. The views were exceptional! You do need to rely on your car as it is off the beaten track. You can walk to the golf club but otherwise you need a vehicle to get to Monmouth, etc. We found it to be the perfect spot for our whole family, with great access to Ross-on-Wye, Symonds Yat, Abergavenny, etc, and there’s plenty to see and do. Anne-Marie (the owner) was very helpful in the lead up to our stay, offering insightful advice and suggestions to help make the most of our stay. We would definitely recommend staying here"

"The location and overall atmosphere of the property were lovely, and at first glance everything looked great. Unfortunately, when we looked more closely, the cleanliness was disappointing. There were quite a lot of cobwebs in the corners and around the walls, which made it feel as though some areas had not been properly cleaned for weeks.The kitchen was also not cleaned to the standard we expected. Many of the items, dishes and utensils had to be washed before we could use them.The biggest disappointment, however, was the hot tub. It was advertised as part of the property, but there was no hot tub available during our stay. This was one of the main reasons we chose this accommodation and were willing to pay 570 for two nights. Had we known there would be no hot tub, we would not have booked the property at this price.It was also extremely difficult to find the property, and clearer directions would definitely help future guests.Overall, the place has a great atmosphere and potential, but considering the cleanliness issues and especially the missing advertised hot tub, we left disappointed and did not feel the stay represented good value for the price."

"What an absolute diamond of a property we found here. It was perfect from relaxing in the Hot Tub to looking out on the most spectacular views from the garden. It really was the perfect place to reset from busy life.The beds were comfy and we loved the welcome pack and the luxury toiletries there to use.Cathy was fantastic answering my many questions about suitability for my reactive dog and everything was exactly as explained, we had complete privacy but she was only at the end of the phone if we should’ve needed her. Thankyou for sharing this lovely place for guests like us to enjoy. "

"Solo traveller, one night stop off. Camping hut for two (two single beds) which was warm and cosy. I'd have chosen a kettle over a TV but that's my preference. Stunning surroundings. 3 huts in one very large field so quiet. Excepting unfortunately the noise from the adjacent A road.. which runs alongside the site. Café/ bar on site (this is where reception is) comfy, friendly, good breakfast, views overlooking the pond. Facilities numerous. A good site for families I'd say."
