Breaking Waves is a charming, traditional, three storey fisherman’s cottage in the heart of Downalong in St Ives. This pet friendly and tastefully furnished cottage is situated in a tucked away spot, just a short stroll from the golden sandy beaches of Porthmeor and Porthgwidden, perfect for surfing, bathing and rockpool fun. You will also find St Ives’ famous galleries, restaurants, cafés, and boutique shopping only minutes away. Breaking Waves is a super holiday home for a break in St Ives at any time of year.

Step through the door into the open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine and Krups coffee machine which takes Nespresso pods.

The living/dining area includes comfy sofas, a TV offering Apple TV and an extendable dining table seating up to six guests.

On the first floor is the first of the two double bedrooms, a delightful room with a walk-in wardrobe.

The family bathroom is also on the first floor and offers a shower over the bath, heated towel rail, wash basin and WC.

The principal bedroom found on the second floor benefits from a lovely, vaulted ceiling, double bed, TV and en suite shower room with wash basin and WC.

Also on the second floor is the third bedroom which features a vaulted ceiling and has a single bed with a pull-out trundle bed.

Out front of Breaking Waves is a wooden bench great for your morning coffee or a glass of something chilled after a day exploring St Ives.
