Apartments in St. George Island for Rent

"Room was very cold. No ability to turn down the AC. No extra blanket. Called front desk a little after 8 pm. Wanted the AC turned down and a blanket. Got recording telling me after 7 pm no one was available and they looked forward to speaking with me in the morning. No number offered to contact someone. We got beach towels from car to use as blankets, wore sweatshirts and jackets to bed. Froze all night. Told the front desk about our uncomfortable night and inability to contact hotel staff. The response was that I should have called the emergency number on the rules and regulations sheet posted on the back of the door. We did not see that and might not have considered need for a blanket an emergency. Would have been helpful if the front desk recording mentioned the emergency number in its message, and invited a call to it for comfort issues. Easy fix with better communication or care. No hairdryer in room. Lampshade not secured to bedside lamp and kept falling off. Shower was nice. That was about it. Ugghhh "

"The host greeted us upon arrival. The overhead lighting was dimmable. A low intensity light was by the bedside. The coffee and creamer were good quality. Liked the small soaps in the bathroom. Instructions were easy to understand and placed appropriately. Could have had higher quality towels. May want to add that there is limited access for people with low mobility. The view was beautiful and the wildlife was entertaining. "

"Everything was accommodating lots of towels, kitchen wares were perfect the place keep clean. Living room furniture could be updated but is very pleasant to the eye. Over all we like our stay very much! "

"We had good time. We always come during December and love how quiet the area is during this time of year. The host was great to accommodate our requests. Also being close to the State Park was a bonus for us. We had never stayed at Ocean Mile and the community was very nice and super close to the beach with a nice beach view. The grill area was also clean and very convenient. We would definitely consider staying here again. "
