「Our stay at this property was awesome! The home had everything we needed and then some. The location was also perfect for our stay. I have no problem recommending this property to anyone considering a rental in the Cross lake area. 」

「It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. 「Very run down, even with the “renovations” outside is pretty, but inside needs a lot of work. Not fully cleaned rooms or bathroom. Much dirt, debris & insects being in the ventilation of the heating/AC unit that was blowing throughout the room. Multiple plugs that did not work. While neighboring plumbing sounded like it was going to burst through the wall. The king sized bed was harder than a rock, along with the the make shift frame the bed was hanging off of, was louder than a Peterbuilt Jake...
