Everything was absolutely perfect!!! I reserved this place for my daughter. I was worried that they needed my credit card to check in but nope! No worries they said to me. I was grateful for that because here in Canada good luck with that one! Thank you again for a perfect stay according to my daughter. The next time I visit New Zealand, I will be staying here. 10/10!!!!!

This motel was fabulous. We decided to escape the rain and our camper for the night. The room was cheerful and clean. The kitchenette was well stocked and we didn’t need any supplies from our camper. They even gave us a carton of milk for our hot chocolates. Washing laundry was free and the dryer was the standard 4$. We never heard a peep all night. Would definitely recommend this location!

This property looks more like an apartment complex than a hotel because it is, partly, an apartment complex. It doesn't have a hotel lobby or bar or restaurant. It does have a laundry room, which is something I would really like to see in most hotels. The hotel's name is essentially its address, and that can be confusing when trying to explain to some of the locals where you are staying, but that's not a big thing. My wife and I stayed there for a few days and found the bed comfortable and the room clean and well maintained. The shower was strong with plenty of hot water, and we had a small fridge, a microwave, and a kitchen sink with glasses and plates. This hotel is not located in the CBD, but it's a short bus ride to the central business district, and the bus stops are within a block of the hotel. (Christchurch has a nice public bus system that we used to go downtown and even get out to the airport.) There are several restaurants and other businesses along Lincoln within a couple blocks of the hotel.
