I recently moved my daughter to Spokane for school and found the blockhouse while I was in Spokane for the week. First the location was great with quick access to the city as well as wonderful strolls through beautiful neighborhoods and parks. The accommodations were just what I needed and super comfy, clean, quiet and safe. I’ll definitely stay there again.
Super clean and convenient place to stay, especially if you are planning to hang out in the city. I really enjoyed being around so many good food places and activities while not having to stay directly in the city. It was a perfect little spot for 2 people!
Enjoyed seeing all of the creativity and thoughtful planning to make a small space so efficient. Just a few comments.... Recommend book reading clip-on lights or somehow attaching bedside reading light to both sides of the bed. Would remind people that they need to use the code to get in and also to lock up when they leave (door does not appear to automatically lock as you exit). And the blue paint to illustrate there is a step in the sidewalk that runs between the units is not well lit on a dark night... that is a very serious hazard for people coming in after dark. Overall, would stay again for sure!
