Clean and fun/quirky room, very close to the RAI and metro. The front desk was hit or miss in regard to politeness, some were very kind and some were clearly unhappy to help. Room service was good but overpriced.

Before I start, I want to say the location and staff at this hotel are fantastic, but that's where the positive aspects end. For me, the room was freezing with no temperature control. I couldn't open the bathroom door because the bed was in the way. The beds were terrible—they were just boxes stacked with a mattress that slipped off its frame repeatedly. There were no desk amenities at all, only cheap soap and a hot water kettle. It felt like a jail. I had to move to a triple room on my last night, which was slightly better, but the price still wasn't justified. I understand a conference was happening that raised prices, but for what I received, the cost was excessive. It was the worst stay I've ever had in Amsterdam.

the room’s air conditioning monitor seems broken, we can either set it at 19C or 24c but nothing in between. Also, the usb and usb-c port on the right beside table is not installed properly
