"This was our second visit to this location, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The property is beautiful and the farm has many cute, fun animals to watch and interact with. There is no TV, which is great for connecting, but bring games or books in case it rains. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen has everything you need to make meals."

"This property is stunning! The cabin itself is amazing and beautiful, but it's settled into this wonderful little area that has deer, rabbit, birds, and all kinds of other wildlife. There is not a lot of noise, so just sitting on the porch and listening to the animals and the wind in the trees was a highlight of the trip. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything we needed. We highly recommend this property. It was worth the drive for the views...

They gave us the grand tour of their 300 acre property and checked on us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She even texted us from the grocery and asked if we needed anything!! How thoughtful is that!! Will definitely be back! Wonderful location for exploring FCF and Burgess Falls."

"Very nice cabins with all amenities in a very quiet location over looking a river. I came to photograph the area waterfalls all of which were less than 30 minutes away. Everything you could need is less than a 40 minute drive. I would highly recommend Bear Bluff Retreat....."

This has got to be one of the most peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable stays I have yet encountered in my years of staying at VRBOs. A terrific experience. From the first communication, to checking out, everything was at it should be and better. Upon arrival late at night, the lights where on for us, the A/C was on making the temperature just right and after a 15 hour drive, finding ice ready for us was a treat....

"This was a comfortable, well kept retreat for two. Everything was new with every detail needed. Only sounds we heard were the birds chirping. We were up on a bluff surrounded by trees so it didn't get overly hot. We could sit on the deck or near the fire pit. If you're not familiar with the roads, it's best to arrive while it's still light out. The hosts were gracious, friendly and very accommodating."
