"This is a beautiful property that has been well maintained! The property owners have paid attention to detail, as well as it is sufficiently stocked. It is very clean, which made me happy. The full-sized washer and dryer was a plus for us, as we hiked each day we were there and washed a lot of clothes. The fire pit near the cabin is surrounded by trees on three sides. It is a pleasant area to sit. I suggest you bring fire wood with you. The porch which wraps around the whole house has seating on all sides. We enjoyed hearing the rain on the tin roof. The overlook area that is used to advertise the property was very well appointed. The only drawback is that it is a mile from the cabin with no access by vehicle. This makes it a challenge to fully utilize that area. It rained every day we were there, so we only went to the lookout once because of the difficulty to reach it. We are hoping they make it into a road that will allow you to drive to the location because it will then be easy to bring supplies and cook out at that location. The only other thing not apparent, or I missed it, when booking is that there are two other rentals across from the red cabin. I thought we would only be viewing nature. Having said this, It really was not an issue when we were there. I would suggest renting this property."

"Room was clean and functional. Two drying fans running outside my door in the hall may have tainted my opinion of this stay. The pool was at the end of the hall outside my door. I am sure water was being tracked into the hall area. The outside of the hotel was in the process of being repaired (caulk & paint, etc). This too was outside my room. The road was also being under heavy repair. Things to consider. "

"Nice remote quiet location as promised. The floor plan was really spacious. Options for outdoor living are a FP, picnic table, or sit under the covered porch. Because the location is away from any grocery stores( closest about 15 miles), you may want to bring at least some basic food & beverages. You are really close to the Falls at the state park though- easy drive.Really a nice place."

"The room and lobby were clean and fresh and the staff were very nice. The only issue is that housekeeping began knocking loudly on doors and saying housekeeping as early as 8:45am and opened the door, looked around, saw me sleeping, then said I’ll come back. It startled me and disturbed my sleep. Not sure why they are opening doors of occupied rooms."
