"We booked this property so we could go hiking during the Thanksgiving holiday. We went to Fall Creek Falls two days and to Lost Creek Falls another. This property was in a great location. We did not cook much, but we did appreciate having everything we needed in the kitchen, including salt and pepper, coffee filters, cream and sugar, and tea. I love those details! "The cabin is beautifully nestled in the woods off the highway. Is was quiet and secluded yet close to all of the hiking and activities of the state park (we recommend driving so you're not crossing the highway on foot). The little Italian restaurant next door was great (try the apple torte!), and they had a pianist Friday night. "This was our second visit to this location, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The property is beautiful and the farm has many cute, fun animals to watch and interact with. There is no TV, which is great for connecting, but bring games or books in case it rains. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen has everything you need to make meals."
