「We only booked one night as we didn’t know how long we needed to stay due to a family situation. The hotel kept our room open whether we used it or not and only charge for the days we are here at discounted rates. All staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and hugely empathetic. 」

「The property is absolutely beautiful and is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever visited. The afternoon tea was perfect with some of the most delicious things I’ve eaten. Breakfast was extremely expensive (we thought the tray charge of 5 pounds was the price since nothing else was listed and were surprised with a $70 bill). Aside from that, absolutely perfect honeymoon trip. They were so good to us! 」

「Lovely room with cracking view of the see. Parking very close and not far from town centre. Welcoming and friendly staff and good breakfast. Only thing I would mention was lack of storage in the room but we managed. Would stay again.」

「We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....
