We got upgraded to a penthouse suite upon check in, unfortunately for us though they were doing maintenance work on the balconies and they were unusable. My biggest complaint about this hotel is that it is 1 ply toilet paper in a penthouse suite, that makes no sense lol.

This is a classic old hotel with all the charm. Everything is small scale and functional. No desk, chairs etc. Great that rooms aren’t carpeted. Beds were comfy and clean. Room faces a brick wall which helped keep the room dark with early sunrise. Lobby bar and live music was a nice touch. This was priced below many of our modern favourites but I’d happily stay here again. We were a week before FIFA and all hotel prices were nuts.

Very nice stay! Clean and comfortable room. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Hotel and our room were both very clean. We had to call housekeeping once and they came to the room very quickly. Biggest downfalls are how long the elevators take sometimes and it sucked the pool wasn’t open due to repairs. Overall great stay and would stay again!
