From every window, there is a lovely vista of trees, foothills, and boulders, but the only house you can see from the cabin is the other small vacation rental house on the same plot—and the entrances are oriented to ensure privacy. "Wonderful location, with convenient access to the lake and many restaurants, bars, etc. My wife and I were able to go cross country skiing on frozen Grand Lake, which is just a few hundred feet away. "We liked the location and was within walking distance to shopping and dining. It was older adobe structure which we liked. What we didn’t like was marginally safe electric outlets and main door locks. The outlets were poorly maintained and hung loose. The door locks need to be updated and strengthened. Another item that needs to be addressed is that the property was advertised as an efficiency there was no sink in the “kitchen” area. We had to haul water from the bathroom to wash dishes and...

"This property obviously has an incredible location at the bottom of Peak 7 for the easiest access you could have to the mountain. What makes this space different are the hosts. They have been very thoughtful in setting up the space, they even had coffee beans and a grinder, along with a fully stocked spice rack, and cooking necessities in the cabinet. We also loved the comfy sheets and pillows. We can't wait to stay again."

"We went during seasons so many of the amenities were closed or under maintenance. They do charge a resort fee, but the manager was very accommodating and did reverse the fee because of the situation. Management and front desk were very kind and communicative. Great location to skiing and town."
