「We stayed here passing through on our way to and from Lake Tahoe and we opted to get the cheapest hotel because we weren’t going to be there for long. The rooms were extremely dirty. You can tell they haven’t had a good deep clean since maybe the 90’s. It smelled like cigarettes and we got a room that wouldn’t close from the outside unless you slammed it. 「This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. We seriously considered moving to another hotel even if we couldn’t get our money back. Beds had no bottom sheets, just a mattress protector (which was needed as the mattresses were disgusting). Everything was dirty and smelly. Avoid this place!」

「I planned a trip to Carter Lake late in the process and all hotels closer to the lake were booked. It was about a 30-minute drive to Crater Lake from this hotel, which was not a problem for me. The hotel is older with few amenities, but it is clean and safe. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was fine for me.」

Typically would lean towards a name brand hotel but since I was just passing through the area for one night, I opted for the less expensive option.
