"Very nice modern tiny home in a quiet, beautiful location. About 30 min to the Grand Canyon Park entrance but also remote enough to be away from it all. We were 2 females with a 12 year old child and felt very safe here.The home is well thought out with a gorgeous kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook. "We stayed in a room with two queen beds in Yavapai West. The room was clean and comfortable. We did have wifi in the room, which we considered a bonus, as that's not a guarantee. Easy to park right in front of the room. Easy walk over to the main lodge, but we preferred to drive as it was icy and very cold (early January). It is VERY DARK at night, so bring a small flashlight with you. The gentleman at check-in was very friendly and made great suggestions on where to go for sunrise & sunset viewing - he even drew maps, so we didn't get lost. Food in the lodge was okay - it's doable, just don't have high expectations. We did not visit the Grocery Store, but it is right beside the main lodge at Yavapai. We did send postcards from the post office, beside the grocery store - that was easy. All in all, a great place to say, solo traveler or travelling with family - highly recommend, and I would stay here again."
