Private Waterfront House, Scenic Sunset Views

Welcome to a private waterfront property with unobstructed views of summer sunsets. The property is located on a secluded, dead end street and located on one of RI's nicest ponds, with water access to the ocean and less than a mile away from one of the State's best beaches.

- The backyard leads to a private dock, which is perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing (2 kayaks and fishing rods available to renters).
- The house includes an outdoor grill, picnic table, fire pit, cornhole and croquet set for guest use.
- Indoor activities: Ping-pong, foosball, board games and dartboard. The main living areas (kitchen, dining room and great room) have been fully renovated (2022). The house sleeps 8 and has private parking for 6 cars (including 2 garage parking spaces). >Property is within 2 miles of a half-dozen restaurant/diner/take-out locations (incl. Dunkin' Donuts) and a National Wildlife Refuge.

The property met our expectations for a little post-Christmas family time. The view out to the water was great. The house had everything we needed and was a relatively reasonable distance drive to nearby attractions. We didn't make use of the kayaks or the docks to access the water since it was cold and snowy, but that would be an excellent amenity in the warmer months.

The setting of this property could not have been better. The views were amazing!We were here at a very quiet time of the year so it was perfect for us, very serene. The kitchen was well equipped so cooking in was easy. The only challenge we had was the heat was figuring out how to adjust it so as not to be too hot or too cold.

Great stay in southern RI

Loved our long weekend birthday trip! The house was perfect-relaxed, and so easy to have our pup there without worrying about the floors or furniture. We loved the balcony and fire pit. It was mesmerizing just to sit and look at the amazing view in our one rainy day. Kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable. The rental, although dog friendly, was sparkling clean. We hope to be back next year!

Spring Girls Weekend

We stayed for a long weekend and loved the house and kayaking on Green Hill Pond. The water views from the main living area are great. The kitchen had everything we needed except a teapot, but a small pot worked fine. The beds were very comfortable. Looking forward to another trip here next year!!

Amazing views day/night from this house!

We stayed at this location and the views from the house are so worth the stay. You can just sit there all day staring at the water. The sunsets are literally across the water every evening and stars are so bright at night! The home was located close to many attractions like Block Island, Newport, Golf Courses, shopping and beaches. The home is older and has some unique features but it suited our family get together perfectly. We would stay again.

A thanksgiving to remember!

We had the most wonderful time staying at the home for thanksgiving! Truly everything about the home is incredible. The space is clean and bright and perfect for a family. Paul was so attentive and the check in was a breeze. We cannot wait to return in the summer to really enjoy the outdoors!

Rhode Island Retreat

The property had everything we needed and was very clean. It is a great place to hang your hat while viewing the local communities. If one plans to lounge inside it does not really lean in that direction. The sunsets on the back deck and water views are just amazing!!!

Spectacular Views

We enjoyed are stay on the salt water pond. Kayaked every morning when the water was still. Beautiful birds. The beds were not uncomfortable but I suggest bringing your own pillows. We were glad we had ours. The kitchen is newnew

Our trip was with 6 women for girls weekend!! The house was great. Plenty of beds, plenty of room to not feel crowded and we stayed on the deck crabbing. We would definitely come back again.

Perfect location

House was better than pictures showed. Very clean, great beds and linens. The house has a great layout, great for a large group, lots of space. Very functional updated kitchen. Owners are very responsive and accommodating. Kayaked across the pond to our favorite Pvt beach. Biked to Charlestown Breachway, Matunick, Greenhill beach and Charlestown Mini. Hopped on the Ferry to BI for a self guided bike tour of the island. (Not recommended for recreational bikers) Gathered lobster traps 1.5 miles off the coast with a haul of 16 lobster. The house is a perfect location !

Perfect Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and peaceful house with fhe most amazing views!!! The dock was wonderful and it was great to have 2 kayaks to use! The views from the 2nd floor deck are amazing... Inside was spacious and had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay on Green Hill Pond!

We had a wonderful time at this property for our family vacation (with adult children). The location is beautiful with access to so many activities. The welcome book is very detailed, so READ IT when you check in. Communication with host was outstanding. The pond is so nice for kayaks (2 supplied and we brought 2 and a paddle board) and the crabs coming to the dock were so cool. The inside of the house is very very nice. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, appliances, plastic reusable cups and more. The dehumidifier that self pumps keeps the basement humid free. The cool breeze made for great sleeping weather. The bedrooms are well supplied as well with a fan for each room, comfy pillows, extra blankets. The yard is big enough for bocce. The outdoor seating options were terrific. We enjoyed walking to the tennis / basketball courts in the morning. The local beach great and boat launch too. We will definitely recommend to friends and hope to come back again. Thanks for an awesome vacation spot!

A peaceful place!

Great place!

The house was wonderful, and the setting was beautiful. It was warm when we arrived, but when we opened the windows the breeze cooled the house off immediately. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy big meals together. We had a great vacation. I highly recommend.

April family vacation

Wonderful location! The windows overlooking the saltpond make you feel like you're sitting outside. It rained the whole week we stayed but we didn't mind! We watched the water from the kitchen table and played monopoly! Amazing house!
