Great communication from Tiffany; we made ourselves at home in a perfectly stocked beach house and really enjoyed the hot tub on cool, clear October nights. Our only drawback was for our older bodies, we could feel the bed springs, but if you're only staying for a couple of days it probably won't bother you.
This place is amazing!!! wanna watch the stars in a hottub? this is the place!!!!! see the fog roll in the mountains across the water simply beautiful. I stayed here for peace of mind and grounding and I got it !!! thank you seascape and tiffiny Also i hope to come back soon in the new year or next christmas thanks again
We really enjoyed our stay at The Beach House. We found the property to be well located and well equipped for our needs. We enjoyed relaxing in the evening in the hot tub while watching the sun set. The owners were always quick and friendly when replying to my questions.
We had a great time at the beach house! The views from the rooms and patio were very nice. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing at the end of busy days. The bed was very comfortable, the whole place was nicely decorated (my wife called it quaint). We saw lots of otters, seals, birds and even (I believe) an orca. Tiffany was an awesome host. We'll definitely return next time we're on the island.
We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend and it was the best time. We wanted to go to Sooke to do nothing and that’s what we did! There was a dock with easy access to the water, the place was well stocked with towels and appliances. There was no oven, but there was a BBQ and toaster oven so it was easy to get around. We truly enjoyed our stay and eventually would like to come back for a longer period of time!
Exactly as listed. Fantastic communication. Central location. We wanted a place to relax after beach combing. This was the perfect spot. The hot tub right outside the patio door and the privacy made it all the more enjoyable. Will definitely recommend to friends.
So hard to leave after four days. The morning view out the back was mesmerizing and won’t be forgotten. While diminutive, all needs were provided and was very comfortable. The area lends to a wide range of excellent activities; a bit of prior planning does go a long way. To note, as pictured, there are quite a few stairs but are not insurmountable. Also, must be okay with seahorses . A
Such a lovely place! The unit is extremely well appointed, clean, modern, and you absolutely cannot beat the view! We had such a nice time, just looking out onto the water, watching the tides come in and out, and just hanging out on the dock or on our little patio and enjoying the view. Because the unit is on the water, it does require walking all the way to the back of the property and down about two flights of steps. But so worth it! If I could change anything, I would suggest that perhaps a few of the shrubs be trimmed a bit to maximize the view even more. (Especially the ones in front of the bedroom window). We would absolutely stay here again and hope to someday.
My wife and I stayed for four nights in mid-July 2025. We only wish we could have stayed longer! This cottage was everything we could have hoped for. Beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and well-equipped: the kitchen lacked for nothing, even coffee was provided. Of course the property is blessed with a wonderful setting on Sooke Inlet. We loved the beauty and calm of the waterfront, with perfect sunny weather, a refreshing change from the heat and humidity back home. Since our stay was part of a longer visit to the area, we did use the laundry facilities, and these too were top-notch.I should mention that there are 47 steps from the paved path down to the front door. This is not a criticism - they are well maintained and well lit by motion-sensing lights after dark - but it might be a concern for somebody with mobility issues. If the listing and photos appeal to you, don’t hesitate to book a stay: they come close to capturing the beauty and serenity of the place, but it’s even better in reality!
This stunning beachfront retreat was everything and more than advertised! My husband and I loved this super clean home with an incredible ocean view! Such a peaceful and relaxing stay … and will definitely book again!
As far as we are concerned it is the best cabin to stay at in Sooke. We have stayed there a number of times over the years, and have never been disappointed.
Love the property and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The Beach house had everything we needed including privacy.Host was attentive and quick to respond.
Very smooth check-in and check-out. It was what we expected and more. Tiffiny always responded right away and was very considerate to allow our quick elopement by the dock. It was truly a home away from home. Highly recommended.
We absolutely loved staying here! The beach house had everything we needed including cozy housecoats, fluffy towels, and luxerious throws! The beach house was beautifully decorated and the view was beautiful and entertaining! The hot tub was the icing on the cake after a day of hiking, beachcombing, and seeing the sights. We would recommend staying here!
