Beautiful room and grounds. The bar was wonderful as was our hostess. The Wi-Fi was an embarrassment. Couldn’t even watch the World Series because the television kept crapping out kind of shameful for a hotel in this price range.

Was a lovely property. Food was good. Servers were very nice. They did not clean our room as there was a 5 day policy and we stayed for 5 nights. They clean the room after the fifth night. Might be due to the off season. Loved the beach. The Drift Spa was amazing. Had a couples massage and the ladies working were amazing. Staff was friendly. Very mellow.

This was our first stay here. We loved the location, close to our event and perfect for walking the dog down the trails. The hydro did go out at the hotel for the afternoon/ evening which closed the hottub for the night and left us in the dark. We were able to get a flashlight from the front desk though. Check in could have been better, but once we got on, the room was beautiful and cozy. The gentleman who helped with our bags was friendly and helpful as we got settled. Overall we had a great stay

This is an exceptional "Hotel". From the initial check-in and throughout the stay, all the staff are professional, welcoming and warm. The Resort is wonderful; peaceful, relaxing and the views from the rooms are exceptional with great vistas out to the Pacific ocean and coastline. Partial ocean view was unexpected and lovely in a “trail” unit. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the fridge stank of old fish upon our arrival and required multiple visits over two days by housekeeping to improve the situation and the washing machine had stinky black mold in the front seal (and was therefore unusable).

Great view of the ocean from our room, friendly and accommodating staff, great restaurants and overall wonderful stay! My only recommendations are that the wifi could be improved as it works poorly and we could hear the neighbours quite clearly through the walls.

Black Rock Resort was amazing! What a wonderful treasure in Ucluelet you have created. The lobby, dining rooms, pool, and rooms were more than a 10. Thank you to all the professional staff, and the young man driving the golf cart when we had to park far away! The facility and the property are beautiful! Thank you for a few special days!
