Watch the sunset from almost every room, cool off in the warm pool, have a meal on the patio, finish the night in the hot tub, this property has everything. There's even a fire pit and space heater for some late night drinks. Even though it is somewhat close to other houses, the foliage and quiet neighborhood makes it feel very private. It's also probably only about 7 minutes away from downtown Sonoma which is very convenient. Be aware the drive is quite hilly but not challenging.
A few notes for those who like to cook, there was lots of staples, spices etc. Great sharp knives, a pretty complete set of cooking utensils, pots/pans and lots of plates/bowls/glasses. There's a finicky oven which has some special instructions (we didn't end up using it) but the range is great.
The indoor dining table seats 8 and the outdoor also seats 8 so it's perfect for that size party. It's important for those with elderly guests that one of the bedrooms has a bunk bed with a ladder. The pool is not child safe (I wouldn't expect it to be) so if you have little ones please ensure they are supervised. The AC is adequate, on very hot days it can struggle a tad but we were very comfortable even when it hit 105ºF outside. There is also a large washer and dryer which is great!
Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The house was perfect.
