Room was lovely. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
Real bonus was the award winning Raja of Kent restaurant on the same site.
Excellent food and run by the same lovely family.

「Perfect ‘treat’ break … lovely pub/hotel. The weather was superb too! Room was everything we would put on a wish list (it was a great price on our budget so didn’t get church tower & high st views) but everything so easily walkable. Lots cafes restaurants but chose hotel as vg menu choice on a Sunday night! Thanks to all staff who were extremely accommodating & friendly. We will def visit again. 」

Didn’t like the flimsy plastic party glasses in the room. Glass or solid plastic one are more in keeping and more useable. 」

「We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable.
The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...
「We booked to stay as it was near to Wadhurst Castle where we were attending a wedding. The room was The Yew and Eye. Spotlessly clean and a lovely area out the front to sit and enjoy a drink. Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome」
