The neighborhood of Tiong Bahru is fantastic! offering plenty of local and western food options, convenient cash points and convenience store (7-11). Very close to 2 MRT stations and bus stop across the street. Charming ambience with appealing apartment blocks. Friendly and efficient staff at the hotel. Our only complaint is that the bed was extremely hard and took some getting used to.

Quiet location, Friendly and Professional Staff, near Train Station and Mall. I felt safe and secure, exceptionally clean and drinking water was provided. The Square Toilet was a HIT because it was so Comfortable! Water Pressure was exceptionally good and Hot Water was available. Check it was easy Staff recognized accomodated and delivered fast easy check in.

Hotel pictures did not represent reality. It is at the best 2-3 star hotel. We even found gecko behind the curtains. First we booked their usual room, but because of many issues we paid extra and got executive sweet. There are better hotels in city for the price we paid.

Rooms are small and tired as is bathroom. Location is good. No breakfast although lots of opportunities to eat locally. It too several hours, and several calls to reception, for a totally unnecessary extra bed to be removed from the room so I could use the desk. The aircon failed and needed repair on the floor; no information given. I will not be back.

Not a 3.5 star Hotel

This is not a hotel for Europeans as threre is no breakfast included and the attached restaurants are Asian and I could find nothing to eat on the menu. Ther are more fiendly places around the corner across the road. The room was not as show on the website being tiny with a column in the middle and nowhere to put suitcases other than on the floor to fall over. Bathroom OK other than only two towels provided and no small hand towels. Not much of a lobby or waiting area and no tourist maps. It's a bit out of town but it is a 20 minute walk to Chinatown and 10 minutes to closest train station.

the lobby was nice but that was it. the room smelled of bug spray when we arrived. Nowhere to put a suitcase or hang clothes. the bathroom was worn out, the towels had holes in them. The bed was very hard. This was the third hotel we stayed at in singapore, who sets the stars? This was max 2 stars. Both gran central and chancelloratorchid was better, same price and stars.

Not the best hotel

First hotel room on 4th floor very noisy until 1.30am as there is a pub upstairs, also air con vent was dirty due to lack of opening windows made me quite sick. Called the hotel about the noise a few times until reached out next morning To hotels.com for a room change. Not much different, beds was very very firm so anyone with back aches or side sleepers stay clear. Unsure if this hotel is Actually 4 stars. Would not stay again.

Too small

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff...however room shows 205 sq ft, this is very misleading. The space is about 130 sq. Ft! Twin beds were 1 foot apart, no closet. Very small even for Singapore standards.

Great for value and business trip.

This is my second visit to this hotel. Mrt is located within within walking distance around 10 minutes. There are many great restaurants around the hotels. Staff are helpful and nice.

location is central, easily to move to city and nearby local places of interest. Room is neat but has ants crawling about on floor and table top. A lot of China PRs and very noisy in late evening and early morning, yapping loudly as they pass our room.
