I recommend staying here if you're laying over or stopping over in Singapore for a night or two. Easy to get into the marina bay area with all the sight seeing and both night time light shows. Grab was the cheapest option and the metro was also onsite and super convenient to get to Chinatown"

"I wanted to stay at Hotel Indigo Katong as I wanted to stay somewhere that FELT like Singapore. All other hotels look the same, you could be anywhere on the planet. But at Indigo Katong I am deeply set in Heritage Singapore. Such a gorgeous hotel, room and staff. So lovely. The staff even took their time to explain the history of the area, and why certain things are uniquely set out in the way they are in the hotel. "Staff super friendly .theres a market that you can eat local food not so expensive .i wish the train was walking distance though it was 15-20 min walk .room was small but maybe its common in Sngapore "

"Hotel 81 Changi suited my needs very well. I was passing through Singapore, having a 30 hour layover. My room was not large but was clean and quiet. The hotel is located about 400 metres from a metro station which in turn is about 20 minutes from the airport. The front desk staff were very helpful."

"I love this hotel! I had a beautiful, spacious room with a balcony, and the shower was exceptional. The hotel is ideally located close to the MRT line that links the airport to the downtown tourist areas, it's less than half an hour to either, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the local area. Also, after I checked out of my room, they kindly allowed me to store my luggage at reception while I explored the city, which I really appreciated."
