If you book Canary Golden, you are staying in the old building at the back but still need to go to the newest building for breakfast. If you book Canary and Spa then you are staying at the newish building. We stayed at the Golden one. The rooms need attention urgently. "We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions we had. The ocean view was absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more relaxing. We also enjoyed spending time at the pool, which was clean and well-kept. "Property grounds were nice. Rooms are a bit dated. The TV and telephone in our room did not work. Manager at reception was very accommodating and made our stay much better. The massages were excellent. Highly recommend them.! Wifi is awful! Love the balconies! The other downside is the beach, the beach is beautiful but you have to pay 25$ for 2 chairs and umbrella every day if you want to be on the beach. Otherwise they do have beach chairs on man made beach near infinity pool. Just depends on...

"My stay at Cactus Lodge was heavenly. My first time traveling alone from the US (New York), I am so glad I booked my stay here. The place hidden in plain sight, opening up the gate to a gorgeous beach vibe. The hotel rooms were very clean, spacious and well air conditioned. Hot water was almost immediate as you turn it on. It was so easy to confirm excursions through the owner/staff and it is very close to all the nightlife. All of the staff were amazing also. So kind, they made me feel so safe....
