ITs very nice, but expensive to get in.
Go well before sunrise to beat the crowds.
When visit - you can really feel spiriy of the local culture and buddhism religion.
As like many other religious sites in Southeast Asia, you have to take off your shoes before entering the grounds. Additionally for the pagodas in Yangon, you also have to take off your socks. Wear sandals when visiting the pagodas for maximum convenience.
Make sure you have a wet wiper to wipe clean your feet because they don't provide any shoes cover but request you to take off your shoes and socks. Do not go there during the middle of the day. The sunshine will make the stone slates very hot for your bare feet.
