"While this stay lacks in the polished stays of a fancy resort it makes up ten-fold in charm and personality. "My group stayed at Villa H. Clean room and has the basic amenities. The location was convenient to other areas. We used a rental car, but there is also a bus stop right outside. Villa H was placed above another loft, so getting our larger luggage was a bit difficult, but we were aware of the room placement so no issues at all. "Love love love this hotel! I stayed in the annex with my own private bath on the balcony overlooking the mountains. The room was spacious and impeccably designed. The only thing that needs to be changed is the floorboards, as they are peeling apart everywhere. Also, the bed was not very comfortable. I had half-board, so breakfast and dinner were included. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with both Japanese and western breakfast items. Dinner was a fixed 5-course menu. Dinner tried to be elevated, but just missed the mark in flavors. I also wish that dinner came with a drink, because you had to pay for a drink with your meal. But all-around an excellent experience in the magical town of Gora. Highly recommend."
