「This is a great option for solo or lightly-travelling couples. A single room with literally all the amenities you need is a rare find for the price this was at and in a fairly central location too. The owner is almost always available for communication and will help with practically everything they can. There might be just a few too many helpful messages, but I would accept that over a manager who never responds. The right area to be in a party district, but not too close that you have to fight...

This area is located close to the Shin okubo station, just one station away from Shinjuku and in reality is within walking distance, or taxi if you're dressed up for the night life.
